Overview
FightCorner is an independent boxing media platform built to organize boxing information in one place: latest boxing news, upcoming fight schedules, champions by organization and divisional rankings. The goal of the project was to create a clean, fast and structured website where boxing fans can quickly understand what is happening in the sport, what fights are coming next, who holds the belts and how fighters are ranked across divisions.
Problem
Boxing information is often fragmented across different sources, news articles, boxing organizations and event pages. Users need to jump between multiple websites to understand upcoming fights, champions, rankings and recent stories. The project needed a structured backend and frontend that could present different types of boxing data in a consistent format, keep navigation simple and prepare the platform for future features such as favorites, notifications and subscriptions.
Solution
The platform was built as a structured boxing content system with separate public sections for news, schedules, champions and rankings. The frontend focuses on readable content, fast navigation and clear information hierarchy. The backend structure supports storing and displaying different boxing-related entities such as articles, events, divisions, fighters, champions and ranking data. The architecture was designed with future expansion in mind, including fighter tracking, user favorites, Telegram/email notifications and richer post-fight coverage.
Result
The result is a public boxing information platform where users can browse recent news, check upcoming fights, view champion snapshots and follow divisional rankings from one website. The project provides a strong foundation for a niche sports media product and can be extended with automated data updates, subscriptions, notifications and personalized fighter tracking.
